Experiencing Our Fashion Scene During Your Corporate Stays In Montreal

Journey Into The Local Fashion Scene During Your Corporate Stays In Montreal

Looking to add to your wardrobe? You’re in luck. You’ll be sure to experience the fashion scene during your Corporate Stays in Montreal. Montrealers dress well, perhaps because the extremes of the season force constant wardrobe updates! The fashion scene owes its continuing development to local designers like Denis Gagnon, Mélissa Nepton, and Travis Taddeo. Celebrities such as Jessica Paré and Céline Dion are also regular contributors. And of course, with three fashion schools, and an annual fashion and design festival, there’s a consistent focus on fashion. It’s no surprise Montrealers have a unique sense of style.

Corporate Stays In Montreal
TO THE SLIGHT SOUTH OF DOWNTOWN

There are many chic boutiques in the streets around the Basilique Notre-Dame, like Rooney, Collection Meli-Melo, and Boutique U&I, on  St Jacques, Notre-Dame, and St Paul, between the Basilique and Rue McGill (Square Victoria Metro Station). On the other side of the Basilique are lots of art galleries and souvenir shops, but Indianica on Rue Paul includes hand-crafted traditional First Nations items like moccasins, hats, and gloves.

Corporate Stays In Montreal
AT THE CENTER OF DOWNTOWN

Another area worth wandering around is Sherbrooke Street, between the Fine Arts Museum and Rue Peel. There’s also the side streets down to St Catherine Street – the central shopping street downtown. Frank and Oak is a Montreal-born StartUp that quickly rose to Canada-wide success. Boutique Tozzi sources designers from around the world, Club Monaco is conveniently next to the tourist information office, and has a little café downstairs. For department stores, Holt Renfrew and Ogilvy offer a little luxury, while Simons is known to many Montrealers as a reliable place to pick up basics.

Corporate Stays In Montreal
IN THE UNDERGROUND CITY OF DOWNTOWN

Many visitors ask about the “legendary underground city” of Montreal. One way in is through Les Cours Montreal, near Peel metro station (one entrance is inside the station itself), where you will find interesting boutiques and luxury brands. From there you can walk through to Place Montreal Trust, and past the way up into Simons, and then cut past the high-street standards of the Eaton Centre and head either to The Bay department store for a taste of Canadiana, or towards the elegant and upmarket Place-Ville-Marie.

We hope this guide has been helpful. For it’s definitely worth remarking on the stylish splendours during your Corporate Stays In Montreal!
